SCS - 5 Short n Sweet Fat Loss Tips

Fat loss doesn’t need to be as much of a struggle as figuring out how to connect your phone to bluetooth speakers.

To help make losing those stubborn pounds a whole lot easier, today I want to pass along five fat loss tips from Dr. Rosenberg.

Here they are:

1. Focus on eating more protein, more veggies, and fewer starchy carbs

Starchy carbs are things like potatoes, rice, bread, pasta, cereal, and oats.

To be clear, it’s not that carbs are awful and unhealthy for you.

But the truth is that most of us eat far more than we need - and all that excess food has a nasty habit of ending up on your hips, belly, legs, and lower back.

If you’re okay with limiting calories, then eat away… But if not, it’s often easier to cut out a category of food completely, rather than to having to test your willpower.

2. Drink one gallon of water per day

Water and hydration plays a role in fat loss that not many people talk about.

If you don’t have enough water in your body, you won’t be able to effectively metabolize stored fat or carbohydrates.

And if you cannot metabolize body fat or carbs, they’re going to stay STUCK in and on you.

Drinking around one gallon of water per day is enough to ensure that your body has all the hydration it needs.

3. Make movement fun

Movement burns calories, and burnt calories (provided you’re not overeating) means fat loss.

Many people will suggest lifting weights or running as fat loss methods, but...

Exercise only works for health improvement and fat loss when you’re able to do it consistently. So it’s crucial that you find something you enjoy!

Yoga, pilates, lifting weights, swimming, cycling, playing sports… These are all GREAT options for helping speed up your weight loss - so long as you find and stick to one you enjoy.

4. Get your beauty rest!

Did you know that according to the American Sleep Association upwards of 50 million Americans have a sleep disorder? Or that drowsy driving is responsible for over 1500 fatalities each year?

Potentially even worse, over 100,000 deaths occur in US hospitals each year due to medical errors, and chronic sleep deprivation has been shown to contribute significantly to these deaths.

Aside from being dangerous and even lethal, well, the research says it all:

A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that when people were starved of sleep, their late-night snacking increased, and they were more likely to choose high-carb snacks.

In another study done at the University of Chicago, sleep-deprived participants chose snacks with twice as much fat as those who slept at least 8 hours.

In the words of Dr. Rosenberg, “all Americans need their beauty sleep.

5. Manage your blood-sugar levels

Most people have no clue about this one.

Which is one of the reasons why Dr. Rosenberg created AMPAlive in the first place - to help millions of Americans take charge of their health, control their blood sugar, and reignite their cellular weight management circuits.

We’ll have more for on you on this in the coming weeks…

As for today, even if you do just one of the above, you’re going to be well ahead of most.

And if I had to pick ONE for you to focus on, it would be ensuring you get your beauty sleep.
