It is important to nourish our skin from the inside out, but it is also important to address aging from the outside!  Our topical products act as a protective barrier, sealing your skin from the outer world.

We can add to the effectiveness of these topicals in enhancing the health and appearance of your skin through your daily actions. Taking care of your body will make you feel and look younger.

Refine your routine with these skin care tips

1.       Get plenty of sleep – at least 7 hours. When you don’t, you expedite the formation of fine lines, wrinkles, saggy skin, and uneven pigmentation.

2.       Get moving – studies have found that exercise can slow down our skin's aging process and even partially reverse aged skin.

3.       Manage your stress – address it, carve out time to do something you enjoy each day, and wind down before bed to avoid harming your skin

4.       Take care of your skin daily! What you put on your skin and how you care for it throughout your day matters! Nurture your skin by not over-washing your face, using your fingers instead of scrubbers, minimizing skin care products, moisturizing after showers, and using warm instead of hot water.

5.       Manage sun exposure – nothing ages you faster than (too much) sun exposure! Wear sunscreen, stay in the shade to avoid burning, and wear a hat.

6.       You ARE what you eat! Fruits and veggies, green tea, and foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids safeguard your skin from aging and keep it healthy and vibrant.

Choose a few goals from this list and add them to your daily routine to form healthy habits; once they become habitual, work on the next goal! Slowly but surely, integrate more healthy habits into your lifestyle.
