SCS - Can I take a supplement that contains Curcumin if I have a Turmeric Allergy?

Turmeric is derived from the curcuma root, and Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric. Curcumin is the potent chemical that gives turmeric its health benefits and antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. 

I would suggest asking your doctor if they think there will be a chance you could take it, but due to Curcumin being the active ingredient, that may be the cause of the turmeric sensitivity. It may be the reason for your allergic reactions.
