SCS - Does Magnesium Stearate Reduce Bioavailability in Products??

The FDA deems it safe for dietary use and there have been studies done to show if it affects nutrient and drug absorption.

The studies found that magnesium stearate does not affect the overall bioavailability of the drug/supplement it is in.

This is evidenced by blood testing to screen for the concentration of the drug and if it was fully absorbed or not.

Through these studies, they saw that magnesium stearate may increase the amount of time the capsule takes to dissolve, but that is to ensure it is being dissolved in the correct area of the body after consumption.

Magnesium stearate is safe to take in our supplements and does not interact with the bioavailability of our products.
