SCS - What is magnesium stearate found in BioShield MD?

Magnesium stearate is the product of the molecule stearate bonding to a magnesium ion.

It is a salt made from plant sources and is used in the supplement as a preservative and keeps the powder inside the capsule from clumping, also known as a 'flow agent'.
