SCS - Why are the KN95 masks made in china?

The reason the masks are made in China is because N95 masks made in the US are reserved for essential healthcare workers and not supposed to be used by non healthcare worker civilians. 

Whereas the the KN95 masks from China are made to the same specification and quality as the US masks, except they are allowed for civilians, thereby offering the same level of protection as the healthcare workers, whereas all other masks don't offer the same protection. 

Because there has been concern on the supply of adequate and high quality face masks throughout the US, OSHA has approved a number of masks worldwide which hold Certification in accordance with US standards.
