SCS - Does AMPAlive effect serotonin?

Most recently, studies have demonstrated that berberine an ingredient in AMPAlive,  can have a protective effect against depression and antidepressant-like effects in mice via a mechanism linked to increased levels of serotonin in the hippocampus, frontal cortex and in the brain as a whole.

The effect it has on people still remains unclear.
